That was then ...

When you're feeling your oats and want to wave your dick around (all emphasis tail-waggingly added):

Jindal calls stimulus 'irresponsible' in GOP response
Wed February 25, 2009

(CNN) -- Tapped by the Republican party to deliver the GOP's response to President Barack Obama's congressional address Tuesday night, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal took on the massive stimulus package and big government -- and pledged that his party would regain the nation's trust...

Jindal has been a vocal critic of the stimulus package, highlighting what he considers waste at a White House meeting with governors on Monday and in his speech Tuesday. He noted $300 million to buy new government cars, $8 billion for high-speed rail projects and $140 million "for something called 'volcano monitoring.' "

"Instead of monitoring volcanoes, what Congress should be monitoring is the eruption of spending in Washington," Jindal said.

Not quite so proud today, are we, Bobby?

Massive oil spill hits U.S. coast
Louisiana declares state of emergency ...

Jindal's declaration of a state of emergency paves the way for federal intervention and assistance, including additional booms from the U.S. Coast Guard that will help protect coasts and fisheries.

U.S. President Barack Obama said earlier his administration will use "every single available resource at our disposal" to deal with the spill. Obama said that could include using the military in the response.

Suddenly, that dick isn't quite so massive, is it, Bobby?
